Be Kind, REWIND.
A brand new ‘90s party comes to Brighton hosted by Pete Bones of Fear & Loathing fame. Pete will be recreating the unique vibe of that most hedonistic of decades and playing the music that shaped his career and life.
For the opening night Pete is joined by local musical mastermind Steve KIW, whose Guilty Feet parties are Brighton folklore, and by Pete Heller, DJ and producer extraordinaire, responsible for creating the musical landscape of London, both then and now.
Having lived through the ‘90s almost entirely in my twenties, and as a DJ and producer whose career started right at the beginning, I can truly say I was there. This may not mean much to those who weren’t, but trust me, it was special. To be in London at that time for me was like living through your best dream. I was lucky; right place, right time. Now I want to try and share that moment with a new party in Brighton, playing the music that helped make me the person I am today.
There will be some tunes you remember, but there will be a lot that you have never heard. And you definitely won’t be hearing the same old ‘classics’ that have been flogged to within an inch of their life. For the opening night I’m joined by local stalwart and musical cornucopia Steve KIW. What Steve doesn’t know about the cooler side of music from that decade isn’t with knowing.
My special guest is none other than Pete Heller, of Farley & Heller fame. Responsible for one of the coolest anthems of those hedonistic days. Pete also happens to be a pretty fantastic DJ too. The venue is No 32. In the heart of Brighton’s Laines and just about perfect for this event.
*** Please note I will be donating £1 of every ticket sold to DJ Alfredo’s gofundme to pay help pay for his healthcare ***
IMPORTANT: The venue No. 32 operate a strict door policy where everybody attending will need to show their ID. You will not gain entry without ID even if you have your ticket, thanks!
