A Charity fundraiser for the children of Gaza

Please join our fundraising charity event in a beautiful garden setting in the heart of Hackney, London, where we will celebrate Palestinian food, culture and music, while also raising money and awareness for the Ajyal Foundation.

Come and enjoy the best of Palestinian street food served hot from Bisan Bites, Bunhead bakers and Manno Salwa 

On the day we will have live music from Palestian Oud superstar Saied Silbak, Alice Russel, Hamish Balfour and Friends, The Freddie Abel Quartet and poetry and spoken word from Abdul Malek. Children of all ages are most welcome and we will have a range of activities and workshops for them so bring the whole family and all of your mates! 

Ajyal Foundation for Education is an Oxford-based nonprofit that develops and collaborates on the delivery of high quality, research-led education and mental welfare for children impacted by war, violence and displacement with a particular focus on Palestinians and refugees. 

Currently, Ajyal is focusing its work on providing urgent emergency support to displaced children in Gaza and has a number of post-war projects supporting mental welfare and education of children.
