UK House legends X-Press 2 join Pete Bones and local shining star Sophie Joy for the annual Be Kind Rewind '90s party with a difference. Carefully curated with the real music we all used to play back in the late '80s and throughout the '90s, not the regurgitated and tired 'club classics' that you might hear whilst shopping in your local Asda. After the success of last year's inaugural Be Kind Rewind with Pete Heller, London's finest House dup of the '90s, Rocky & Diesel, aka X-Press 2 will be gracing the decks with their inimitable blend of underground dance music from across the globe. Throughout that golden decade they continued to amaze us with their flawless DJ sets and more importantly massive productions such as 'London X-Press', 'Say What', 'Muzik X-Press' and the seminal 'Lazy' featuring Talking Heads' frontman David Byrne on vocals. Bones was no shrinking violet himself back then and under his more club-friendly moniker The Shaker had the big hits 'Just Lick It', 'Mooncat', 'Star' and 'Strong To Survive'. The party is started by our awesome local rising star Sophie Joy, DJ, producer, vocalist, and released artist on Classic, Defected and Nervous Records. Sophie also co-produces 'Party People Society', a POC and queer led event celebrating the roots and ethos of House music.
